Takasūmi Forest Retreat – Main Lodge

Set within 45 private forested acres overlooking Shuswap Lake, the Main Lodge at Takasümi is a place to slow down, gather, and reconnect — with nature, with one another, and with yourself.

Surrounded by forest and expansive lake views, the lodge offers a warm and comfortable home base for shared experiences. With six bedrooms, twelve beds and four bathrooms, there is space for up to 16 guests to come together while still finding room for quiet moments of their own.

Lakeview Room — King bed with ensuite bathroom
Driftwood Room — Two queen beds
Meadow Room — Two queen beds
Forest Room — One king bed and two single beds
Fireside Room — One double bed with a work nook
The Hideaway — Three single beds/bunks beside the downstairs games room

Wander the property, head down to the lake, or settle into the warmth of the wood-fired sauna. Evenings are for gathering again — around a meal, beneath the trees, or simply enjoying the stillness of the surroundings.

The retreat's wellness amenities include a wood-fired sauna, two cold plunge tubs and a spacious 12-person built-in hot tub, creating opportunities to restore and reset throughout your stay. Shuswap Lake, with a public beach and boat launch, is approximately five minutes away.
